The death of a certain character in Silent Hill 4.

Unfortunately, it was ruined by lousy script writing.

*Character lies bleeding from many wounds and dying*

Protaganist: ... Are you okay?

That's not lousy script writing, that's the protaganist having a dark(/sick) sense of humour. It could have been worse, he could have poked them with a stick.

Dramatic cutscene? I mostly skip the GW ones, so can't remember them, and I don't play many games. Possibly the cutscene at the end of Pre-Searing Ascalon; nothing's much more dramatic than seeing your home destroyed by flaming rocks.

Have you played it? He doesn't have a sick sense of humour at all. He meekly says "What the hell?" in three consecutive cutscenes - SH4 didn't have the lousiest script writing, but it wasn't the most creative.

Although admitably, whilst poking said character with a stick would have detracted any theatrical nature from the cut scene, it would have been fantastic.

Regardless it was quite nicely done.

MGS series. Compelling and rich.

The only games I really play are Guild Wars, Pokemon (because I'm that cool ) and "How can I avoid doing college work until the last minute and still get a good grade?". So no, I haven't played it. I'm not even sure what "it" is, I just felt compelled to comment.

My statement still stands: Pre-Searing Ascalon Mission cut-scene.

Ending to Halo 3, including the scene after the credits.

If the ending to Halo 2 could be linked directly to Halo 3, it would be so epic!

The intro sorta-scene/part to Bioshock was amazing. My favorite and the best scripted play-scene i've seen ever so far.

IMO every cutscene from FFX was great.

I'd probably say my three favs are the end Pre-Searing cinematic, the cinematic just before Abaddon's mission when you rally your heroes, and--speaking of FFX--the sincematic where Sin destroy's Tidus' home city.

Assassin's Creed, the cutscene where Altair gets stabbed by Al Mualum(SP).
also ending (Which is ruined for me, from my friends). ><

Tomb Raider 1/A scene when she shoots Larson.. Also the cutscene before entering the Pyramid in Atlantis.. That was a very epic, with Kid and Kold.

GW: Prophecies Rurik's death.

+ many more.

When Al Mualum stabs you, it's pretty epic. I think the most epic cinematic in that game is the begining.

I was sad when he was stabbed.. But it was obvious Altair would live that moment.. D= Desmond! you must stay alive! Gah. I'm so attached to the game right now..

LoZ Twilight Princess, when Link first goes to the twilight realm.

That entire scene of him being knocked out and all the way until he meets midna, seemed very well done to me.

If it was in some hi def realistic graphics it could back up me up even more =P
